Now open for  pick your own  Novamac apples Tuesday - Sunday  10am-4pm..please bring your own picking bags - we do have apple bags for picking here at $1.00 each......wagon ride available weekends only... the cafe now open weekends for bbq and seasonal treats

  2010  Siloam Orchards Heirloom Apple Festival will not be held. Our apple crop has been severely limited by the frost / freeze event of May 9 - 11 2010

Apple Tree Listing  - heirloom, disease resistant, cider , redflesh      Pears    Plums   Cherry  (sour / pie /tart  cherries only)    ..... ;small quantities of fruit rootstock will be made  available spring 2011 for Canadian hobbyists  limited supply, contact us for details ; also winter scionwood and summer budwood for those interested in grafting your own

Now taking fruit tree orders for FALL (late Oct delivery) 2010  / Spring 2011 ( mid April ). Send in your requests by email , we will place you on the reservation list and confirm availability mid summer after we have completed the nursery inventory. Ontario Pesticide Ban   

Recently our provincial government has banned "cosmetic" pesticides . For info on which products are available for hobby fruit growers contact the Ministry of Environment info line 1-800-565-4923. Also have a look at www.ene.gov.on.ca/en/land/pesticides/class-pesticides.php  (sorry not yet linked).  This post will be updated as more info becomes available.
